As all of you would know I use this blog as a launching platform for any sites I develop, as well as getting sites indexed into Google and the other search engines. So here on my latest development project I have gone back to basics and to what I know best, MySpace Customisation Sites. The latest feat is TJZNET.com and is an 8 year old domain I picked up specifically for this site, mainly for SEO and to evade the Google Sandbox. So to kick start this new site off I hereby link to MySpace Backgrounds. The site isnt entirely finished, and I will be constantly developing new features, widgets, flash files and backgrounds and layouts and the rest that one would expect to see on a MySpace Customisation Site.

1That’s pretty cool, but how do you make money off of a site like that?

2A lot of traffic, the last site I had was averaging just over 6000 uniques a day, with such low adsense click values and getting a few thousand clicks a day, it wasnt the best way to monetize it. I was also running Value Click Media for CPM banner ads, this helped with the million plus pageviews a month.
I have learnt a lot about monetising since that last site though, and will make use of that newfound knowledge on the new site. I have also learned a lot more about search engine optimisation, so hopefully it will all work together and pay off.

3That’s kinda what I figured… very tough.
The traffic, however, is enviable… although I guess that’s why they say targeted traffic is much more important than just traffic.
