Sorry for the lack of content on here lately, I have had exams for my Automotive Engineering Degree, and been studying like crazy. But its nearly all over, with only one more exam to go on Electronics, I will now be free to get more things done, and expand Internet Operations.

PokerFluff has taken off quite nicely with a bunch of friends and myself posting regurlarly while playing in the Australian Poker League. Also playing in a Crown Casino Tournament (my previous post) we have had lots to talk about, I have been checking out merchandise for which I will get for promotional use at the Poker games we play in, this should help increase traffic a little, but I have also been searching for where I can get more signups and dedicated members. I have also been accepted into the new 3D Online Poker affiliate, this new poker software is just like a PC game, but is gambilng with real money like all the other poker rooms on the internet. As it is yet to open, it will be a perfect opportunity for me to gain lots of signups and deposits, hopefully bringing in a nice commision cheque each month.

I have done a design in Photoshop for ProfileStyling and are trying to get it coded in CSS (as this is the way of the future), it is a lot more professional looking and sleek and it is perfect for the MySpace site. I will slowly be doing more designs as I am learning new skills in Photoshop for web layouts, this will also mean that I will be doing more Web 2.0 styles, and have started looking into Ajax for the full Web 2.0 experience.

I will now let you in on the news of my earnings, as I believe people can be well motivated with numbers they see, I know I am. Adsense is my main revenue stream, it brings in around $40 a day, equal to $1200 a month. On some of my sites I also run CPM banner ads and Popups, which generate another $300 in revenue. As ValueClick Media can pay straight into PayPal, I use this money to cover the $175 a month hosting cost of the dedicated server and for any domains I register or need to pay for. I have never paid for advertising, but this is one thing I will be thoroughly investigating over my break from uni, so hopefully this will see an increase in revenue and traffic.

Note: All figures are in US$.
