Last weekend i competed in a Motorkhana (Autocross for you Americans) and was not competitive at all. It was my first event and I have a car which most people would call a car for straight line cruising only. It is a 1966 Mustang and handles just like it did when it came out of the factory, not very well. But it was heaps of fun, as I could do all these burnouts without having to worry about being hunted down by the police. The event was held 200kms away from my home so we (4 cars, 7 people) rented a couple of cabins up near the event and made a holiday out of it. I have a bit of video footage which i will edit and stick on SuperCarNews aswell as sharing with you here, i’ll also see if i can get some of the photos.

I got very sick of looking at the phpBB forum on SuperCarNews so I converted it over and installed a new version of myBB, it is so much better, many more integrated features, and i will definately use this over phpBB all the time. Now the plan is to just get some more members and activity to build up the forum and it will be alright. I also have to do a template for it to match in with the new SuperCarNews layout.

Some of you may have noticed the extra button above with the title “Gogle”, this is a small test to check out my SEO skills, not that I have any, Im just seeing what I can do to target this keyword in all three search engines. So far things are working out alright, so i will keep details of search engine positions for you.

Other than that there are some planned projects for SuperCarNews which I really need to give it a traffic boost and keep visitors coming back for more. I hope to make a new post soon, because I really don’t like leaving updates for longer than a couple of days.
